"The more stories you know, the richer you become"
This is the motto of actor and director Igor Lungu, who is currently working on his second project dedicated to the wonderful traditional tales of neighboring peoples. After the success of the show "Russian Folk Tales", Hungarian folklore is about to reveal to us some of the beautiful fairy tales that circulated in the Pannonian Plain.
The stories presented – "The Cowardly Wolf", "The Poor Man and the Tricked Fox", "The Bear and the Cat" and "The Boastful Bunny" – are short stories in which the pleasure of play and humor blend harmoniously with the well-drawn characters of the characters and the moral that accompanies each story.
The combination between visual, musical and clothing elements specific to Hungarian culture will send us on a fantastic journey into the imaginary and traditional local space. In the structure of these elements we will also be able to distinguish fragments in common with Romanian folklore, a fact that reconfirms the existence of multiculturalism since the time of storytelling at the tables and at the village hearth.
