The show-event "Dețeptarea", in Cluj, in partnership with the National Theatre and TIFF: a unique show format, live-cinema, followed by a dialogue with the artistic team alongside Silviu Faiăr, Really Rux, Sabina Teodora and Alex Zlăvog
The show talks bluntly about what it means to be a teenager in the era of deepfake.
The Regina Maria Theatre in Oradea presents the show "The Awakening", by Doru Vatavlui, directed by Bobi Pricop, in a special performance that will take place on June 18, 2026, at 6:00 PM, in the main hall of the "Lucian Blaga" National Theatre in Cluj-Napoca, in partnership with the host theatre and TIFF. Tickets can be purchased online, on the platform Here you go Culture.
Welcome to TRM Theatre @Night, the experience that offers you the opportunity to discover the Regina Maria Theatre from a different perspective: not just as a spectator, but as an explorer of a hidden world.
The Oradea State Theatre building enters, for the first time, the circuit of heritage buildings included in the Night of Museums event. The Regina Maria Theatre invites the public to discover the theatre from a different perspective, beyond the conventional experience of the spectator.
On May 23, 2026, between 1:00 PM and 12:00 AM, Oradea residents and tourists alike are invited to THEATRE @NIGHT, an event built around the backstage universe of theater and the processes that support the existence of a living cultural institution. Visitors will be able to explore the backstage, technical mechanisms, costumes, sets and hidden spaces of the building, in a route that puts the theater's architectural heritage into dialogue with the artistic and human activity that animates it daily.
The Regina Maria Theatre is launching the second edition of TRM Academy, a program that grew naturally from the enthusiasm and very good feedback of the participants from the first edition. For many, it was more than a course, it was a space where they gained courage, experimented without pressure and discovered an authentic form of expression.
We continue in this direction and open the doors again for a new series of meetings where theater becomes a tool for personal exploration, not just performance. TRM Academy is about seeing yourself differently, hearing yourself more clearly, and allowing yourself to be present, without filters, in front of others.
Between May 15 – June 23, participants are invited to join one of the two modules of personal development courses through theater, coordinated by professional theater actors:
It is not the first time that the poems of Ana Blandiana, the poet so beloved by her city's residents, have been recited on the stage of the Theater, today called Regina Maria. In November 1983, the extraordinary show "OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, DECEMBER" took place, directed by Sergiu Savin. The actress Cristina Șchiopu recited, and the great actress Leopoldina Bălănuță was invited. In joint recitals, bringing together important Romanian poets, Ana Blandiana is always in the vicinity of poets Lucian Blaga, Nichita Stănescu, Marin Sorescu, Alexandru Andrițoiu, Romulus Vulpescu, Mircea Dinescu.
Inspired by the poetic universe of Ana Blandiana, the show combines two fundamental themes of her creation: love and death, starting from the image of the couple. The lost lover is called and symbolically revived, in order to finally melt into eternity, remaining accessible only through poetry.
