We have known Vasilache and M\u0103rioara for ages. They are said to be the most famous characters in Romanian puppet theatre and to have once roamed all over the fairs. Husband and wife, married for many years, quarrel, play the most ridiculous pranks and tease each other, but it cannot be said that they do not love life. When Vasilache gets into trouble, as is the case, M\u0103rioara, who does not want to cook for him and beats him with a wooden spoon whenever he tries to play the rooster, comes to his aid and saves him.
