WORLD THEATRE DAY – ARTISTS FOR ARTISTS

As every year, the Regina Maria Theatre responds to the National Campaign launched by UNITER – "Artists for Artists", so this year, on the occasion of World Theatre Day, celebrated on March 27, the show chosen for this special day is EQUUS* (by Peter Shaffer, under the artistic direction of Szabó K. István) – which will be performed on March 28, from 6 pm, at the Great Hall.

On World Theatre Day, the international message was formulated by playwright Dario Fo, and the national one by Ion Caramitru. These messages will be read to the audience before the performances that are part of the Campaign launched by UNITER.

The National Campaign "Artists for Artists" is organized by UNITER, together with theaters in Bucharest and across the country, with the aim of raising funds for elderly artists with health problems.

Initiated and organized since 2002, the National Campaign "Artists for Artists" is a stimulator of guild solidarity, a financial resource for elderly artists with health problems, and a signal to the public and authorities regarding their situation and their dignity.
