The Regina Maria Theater has the great pleasure of inviting you to a traditional show that will take place on Thursday, April 19, to commemorate April 20, 1919, which is a landmark day in the history of the city of Oradea. That was when the city on the Crișul Repede was liberated and it legally became part of Greater Romania, as established by the Romanian delegates at the Great National Assembly in Alba Iulia on December 1, 1918.

The liberation of the city took place on Easter Day 1919, and that is why the moment has special connotations. It can be said once again that the Romanian people were resurrected when the Romanian armies entered the city.

In addition to a special program of Romanian dance and song with the Crişana Professional Artistic Ensemble, we have the pleasure of having the beloved soloist Aurel Tămaş join us, to delight us with a special program.

Aurel Tămaș He was born on April 16, 1961, growing up in the Transylvanian lands of Borșa, in Cluj County. He had his first musical experience at the age of 10, as an accordionist, and a little later, as a high school student, he founded his first orchestra where he distinguished himself as an instrumentalist and conductor. In addition to his passion for folklore, Aurel Tămaș has inclinations towards light music. The change in musical style was a good omen for the album "Trup de Vânt" - a unique experience that took many by surprise. The public's reaction was in line with this: the album sold an impressive number of copies.
