The Regina Maria Theater is a prestigious cultural institution that unites two artistic theater troupes under the same roof: "Iosif Vulcan" Band„ – dramatic theater and The band "Arcadia" – theater for children and youth.

Both troupes have accustomed their audiences to a successful repertoire, aiming to achieve a perfect balance between the national and universal repertoire, as well as between the classical and modern. With a total of 42 actors employed, they are among the most multi-talented Romanian troupes, which have managed to overcome the barriers of dramatic theater and approach diverse registers, such as 3D shows or musicals.

The most successful musical is „"Fiddler on the Roof"”, which won the attention of specialist critics through two nominations at the UNITER Awards Gala (sections Best Scenography – Violin Bar and Best Supporting Actress – Ioana Dragoș Gajdo for the role of Golde) in 2012.

In 2016 The team's success is once again highlighted by Richard Balint's nomination at the UNITER Awards Gala in the section Best Actor, for the dramatic role of Gorge Mastromas, in „"The Ritual Murder of Gorge Mastromas"” by Dennis Kelly, directed by Bobi Pricop.

In the year 2020, The Regina Maria Theatre reappears in UNITER's attention, with two nominations, one for Răzvan Vicoveanu, with the role of Joshua in the show "Christians" by Lucas Hnath, directed by Radu Iacoban, in the category Best Supporting Actor, and the second for the young director Diana Păcurar, nominated in the category Debut for directing the show „"Three Tall Women"”.

Year 2021 is a successful one, the appreciation of the specialized critics resulting in two UNITER awards, both for the show „"The Inspector"”, by NVGogol, directed by Petru Vutcărău: Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, given to actor Răzvan Vicoveanu for the role of Ivan Alexandrovich Khlestacov and the Award for Best Scenography, offered to the renowned set designer Adrian Damian.

Year 2025 brings director Alex Ianăși a UNITER nomination in the Best Debut category, for directing the show "Elif and the Rain".

The Oradea International Theatre Festival is a large-scale cultural event, which aims to provide a space dedicated to theatrical arts, through which to stimulate cultural consumption, to support and promote local dramatic creations, Romanian and foreign theatrical productions, as well as to create opportunities for Romanian and foreign artists to share experiences of good practices, innovative ideas and to initiate the most diversified national and international partnerships.

This concept was launched in 2013 by the Regina Maria Theatre in partnership with the Oradea International Theatre Festival Cultural Foundation and brings together under its umbrella Short Theatre Festival (FTS), which is competitive in nature, and Great Guest Shows Section. Also, under the aegis of FITO, there is also Arcadia Children's Theater Festival.

The Short Play Festival is one of the most important sections of the Oradea International Theatre Festival and continues a tradition started at the Oradea Theatre in 1976. FTS has now reached its 26th edition, being the only festival dedicated to the one-act play in Romania.

The FITO 2025 edition will take place between September 13-21 and will include performances from different genres, which will address all categories of audience.

This year's edition of FITO brings an important change in the selection process: instead of traditional applications, the performances will be chosen directly by the festival curator, Raluca Radulescu. This decision reflects the organizers' desire to bring to the public a selection better adapted to current theatrical trends and the needs of the local community.

Another central point of the edition will be the broad debate about the concept of short theatre, considering how new hybrid art forms redefine the notion of time in theater.

According to Law no. 571/2003, corroborated with Government Decision 44/2004 on the Fiscal Code with the methodological rules of application, individual taxpayers have the possibility to direct two percent of the tax on income obtained in the previous year to a non-profit entity.

This option costs you nothing.

Conformable Article 57 (4) – (6) and Article 84 (2)-(4) of the Tax Code, individuals have the opportunity to direct two percent (2%) of the income tax obtained in the previous year to a nonprofit entity, religious institutions, as well as for the granting of private scholarships.
