Very beautiful, tall, slim, blonde with blue eyes, Tania Filip was the young woman long awaited by the theater, destined for the roles befitting a star. Here is the portrait of her by the late Dumitru Chirilă in the magazine "Familia": "This girl, of a special beauty, preserving something of the pale light of the north on her face and the serenity of Rublev's Madonnas in her eyes, seems destined for a brilliant career". When they got to know her better, the management and directors realized that they had in front of them a young woman who loved reading, books, had read a lot, was very punctual, serious, disciplined, without the airs of a star (although she would become the star of the troupe in a short time), displaying simplicity and a sincere and deep love for the stage. Even as a student, he was entrusted with several roles of immense significance for a young man: Ophelia (from William Shakespeare's "Hamlet"), Nora (from Henrik Ibsen's play), Miss Iulia (from August Strindberg's play of the same name), Elena (from William Shakespeare's "Troilus and Cressida"), Iphigenia (from Mircea Eliade's play).
She debuted with the role of the Virgin, "a quick and subtle sketch", as it was written, in the show "The Change of Face" by G.M. Zamfirescu - an absolute premiere. She played the role of young Ana, a destiny crossed by the problems of age (love, disagreements with parents, disappointments, etc.) in the show "The Lovers at 9 PM" by Adrian Dohotaru.
She fully honored her internship, acting and singing in the charming children's show "Mary Poppins" by Silvia Kerim after Pamela Travers. She was a conqueror, becoming the favorite of the children, who declared themselves her fans, many of them asking the schools to re-enact the show. But the role in which I recognized the talent of a future important actress was Lulu, in the show "Anniversary" by Harold Pinter, one of the best shows signed by Sergiu Savin. The show was extensively analyzed by critics and highly praised. About Tania Filip's acting (alongside important actors of the troupe – Ion Mâinea, Eugen Ţugulea, Eugen Harizomenov, Anca Miere Chirilă, George Voinese (Tania's classmate) – it was written that it was marked by "scenic mobility, naturalness and, above all, a certain maturity, despite the actress's young age. In a conversation she had with the literary secretary Elisabeta Pop, published in the show's program booklet, she advocates for valuable theater, "the stupid one - she says - perverts, alters tastes". "Theatre means inner truth, exteriorized... artistically".
Today he is a PhD professor at UNATC "ILCaragiale" Bucharest.
