She spent a season at the theaters in Botoşani and Arad, before settling in Oradea. A very talented actress, with a pleasant and expressive appearance, she played important roles in previous theaters, as well as in Oradea: Masha in "The Seagull" by A.P. Chekhov, Oana in "Sunset" by B.Şt. Delavrancea, Princess in "The Empty King" by Evgheni Şvarţ, or Silvia in "These Sad Angels" by D.R. Popescu.
In the role of Silvia ("These Sad Angels") she created a tense character, paired with the talented Eugen Harizomenov, together they "amplified" and intelligently emphasized "the multiple meanings of the play". About Maşa in "The Seagull", Dumitru Chirilă noted: "The excellent couple Maşa-Medvedenko, interpreted by Dorina Păunescu and Gheorghe Stana, each expressing the burden of a heavy cross in a nuanced way: humiliating, meaningless and hopeless love... embodying the drama of misunderstanding and unfulfillment". In the role of the Princess ("The Naked King"), Dorina Păunescu was capricious enough, a likable rascal, the actress's ease and charm contributing to the creation of the character.
Unfortunately, for family reasons, she left Oradea, heading for Botoşani… then to Bucharest. For many years, she has been an actress at the State Jewish Theater in Bucharest.
