FTS_2018 – Registration date extension

The Regina Maria Theater announces the extension of the registration period for the Short Theater Festival until June 15th.

Also, following recommendations from several theaters in the country that expressed their desire to participate in the festival, but do not have shows in their season that fit within a maximum of 90 minutes without an intermission, the maximum duration of the show was increased to 120 minutes without a break. For more details, please see the regulations attached to this email.

The festival also proposes a dramatic creation contest, launched in partnership with the Cultural Magazine "Familia", which has as its fundamental objective the encouragement of original Romanian dramaturgy, especially short theater. Those interested in dramatic creation can send works to the Regina Maria Theater address until July 1, 2018 (postage date).

Every theater is part of a community. Every community has a story.
Every year, on 25 October, historic buildings across Europe, along with other institutions dedicated to heritage, celebrate the European Historic Theaters Day.
Our Shared Stage celebrates historic buildings as spaces that belong to multiple generations, communities and cultures. A theater is more than a stage or an auditorium: it is a place of encounter, shaped by all those who have worked, learned and performed within its walls.
