From the very beginning of his artistic activity, the young Cristian Juncu has proven to be a total artist, making a special figure in the world of Romanian theater: he writes plays, translates, adapts and, of course, directs. Both his talent and his energy, the ability to approach a dramatic work from multiple angles, are to be appreciated. Unfortunately, in Oradea he probably did not find the right framework for his… multilateral development. In 2004 he began by translating and adapting the well-known text by Isaac B. Singer, "Netotu'", also directing, of course. The actor Marius Damian was well guided, he delivered the monologue deliciously.

In contrast, the show "The Arabian Night" (by Roland Schimmelpfennig) was an artistic failure, stylistically incoherent and in places confusing, the play itself presenting difficulties, probably insurmountable for a young creator. Since 2004, however, at theaters in Bucharest or around the country, Cristian Juncu has directed some meritorious shows, continued to write, translate and adapt texts, which would... translate into "definite evolution as a complex artist".
