Dr. Stockmann, the idealistic doctor of a spa resort in a generic town, makes a shocking discovery: the springs that attract thousands of tourists to his town are not curative, but dangerous to health. It's just that the "heart that pumps life itself" in this town brings both income and advantages for all members of the social pyramid. Stockmann thus embarks on a solitary fight to expose the truth in a world where economic interests prevail and the community often remains indifferent.

This provocative play by Henrik Ibsen, reimagined by Thomas Ostermeier and Florian Borchmeyer and directed by Radu Iacoban, tackles universal themes such as social responsibility, the courage to speak the truth, and the consequences of individual actions. Conflicts erupt between idealism and pragmatism, and the peace of the city is shattered by scandal and controversy.

As Stockmann takes risks to defend his principles, the audience is invited to reflect on their own choices and the price we are willing to pay for the truth. An immersive theatrical experience that transcends the boundaries of the stage, challenging viewers to a critical dialogue about truth, community, and courage.
