Born in other lands, after graduation he returned to the city where he had studied at the "Em. Gojdu" High School, in Oradea, with an immense appetite for work, which did not leave him until the unfortunate stroke that put him on the verge of death. As if by premonition, he gathered in his creative file the direction of numerous shows (even five in one season), not only in Oradea, where he debuted, but also in Arad or the National Theater in Târgu-Mureş, where he was also a director (at both theaters), but in almost all the theaters in the country that requested him, especially to stage plays from the national dramaturgy, which some directors refused. For some – "The Book of Ioviţă" by Paul Everac from Oradea or "Horia" by Mihail Davidoglu from Arad – he received distinctions at national festivals and for most of them, the appreciation of specialized critics. Loving and appreciating actors, he always put them at the center of his directorial concerns, through them materializing his ideas about theater and life. (Presentation by Eugen Ţugulea)
