He came to the State Theatre of Oradea in 1996 and stayed here for almost three years, together with the actress Andra Tudor, his wife. During all this time, he gave the impression that he did not adapt – maybe there is nothing wrong with that –, he always seemed dissatisfied, always demanded something… He played relatively a lot of roles and it seems that he was appreciated. After more than satisfactorily interpreting the role of the Other in the controversial show "Outside the Door" by Wolfgang Borchert, made by Sergiu Savin, but then abandoned and left to the choreographer Angela Doni, he interpreted with aplomb and quite a bit of humor the characters Lucas in "Doctor fără voie" by Molière, Calidorus in "Pseudolus" by Plaut, Miltias in "Proces pentru umbra unui măgar" by Friedrich Dürrenmatt – shows that, unfortunately, were not of great value, and were performed relatively little.

Cronicarii au remarcat talentul său, mai ales în rolurile: Beşleagă, hâtru simpatic („Răceala” de Marin Sorescu), Notarul („Bărbierul din Sevilla” de Beaumarchais) şi Antonio („Jobenul” de Eduardo de Filippo). În primele două a făcut douză compoziţii notabile, iar în „Jobenul” a jucat cu aplomb şi prospeţime rolul unui tânăr buclucaş. Adevărata măsură şi-a dat-o însă în rolul Bormental, în spectacolul „Inimă de câine” de Mihail Bulgakov: o sobrietate peste care a turnat, cu imaginaţie, umor cât trebuie, lăsând spectatorul să „citească” în bogatul subtext.
