George Bacovia Recital
Interpretation and artistic direction: Octavian Uleu
Scenography: Tatiana Manolescu Uleu
Premiere date: March 7, 1974
Aware of the originality and modernity of Bacovian poetry, of its value as an essential landmark in Romanian culture, actor Octavian Uleu confesses in the program of the show the vivid emotion felt at the reading, always repeated over a quarter of a century, of the poet's work. "A follower of the sobriety that emanates from the creation of the author of "Plumb", forcing us to a certain interpretation based on gravity and recollection", the actor gave voice to the poetry without the adjunct of other art, except for a very discreet sound background. The recital included 31 poems from the volumes "Plumb", "Scântei galbene", "Cu voi" and "Comedies in the background".
Lighting: Vasile Blejan
Sound: Dorel Olea
