LOVE

About love. About how wonderful love is in our dreams and about man's inability to love as he dreams of loving.

About longing, melancholy and the eternal feminine, in Eminescu's poetry.

A show with anthropomorphic signs and symbols through which we attribute human qualities and feelings to natural phenomena. The metaphor is always present in Eminescu's creation.

I dedicate this show to the wonderful woman, Eleonora Maria, my wife, who has been enduring all my "theatrical" infidelities with stoicism and rock-solid devotion since the last century.

And because you have not had the opportunity, until now, to see me in this position, I must confess to you that for me Theater is a syncretic art, but not kleptomaniac, that it appeals to all the arts, but does not grant any one a status of autonomy, that all the means it appeals to, in order to express itself, must be born and made, from the need for expression of the game, of the actor. I strive, by doing theater, to get as close as possible to the harmonies of music, because in the rigor of music there is more immediate poetry, than in all other arts. I refuse to appeal to modern means, such as film, projections, etc. Because I am a follower of the one who discovered that "for 2000 years, Theater has not been made, but a show". (Ioan Ieremia)
