Queen Marie Theater Oradea

Actress

Date and place of birth: 15.02.1941, Bucharest

Studies: Institute of Theatre and Cinematography "ILCaragiale" Bucharest, 1965

Coming to Oradea as a graduate, benefiting from a pleasant physique and artistic qualities, both in the dramatic and comic register, the actress performed an average of four important roles per season, which is telling even for a provincial theater. In Käthie ("Heidelberg of the Past" by Wilhelm Meyer-Förster), a chronicler observed that she is not only beautiful, but also sensitive and almost tender, in her simplicity. Gina Nicolae's Ziţa ("A Stormy Night" by ILCaragiale) had temperament and even a little poetry, a hint of romanticism, albeit outdated. A wave of authentic dramatism is present in the role of Begbick in "The Disappearance of Galy Gay" by Bertolt Brecht.

She would certainly have had a great career, but her transfer to the "Ţăndărică" Theater (following her second husband to the capital) stopped her rise, which a theater of a completely different profile could not offer her.
