Queen Marie Theater Oradea

Actress

Date and place of birth: 19.01.1943, Bucharest

Studies: secondary

He played in an artistic ensemble in Bucharest, before coming to Oradea for a year in 1965, after which he left the town. He returned for three seasons, then left Oradea – permanently. With a pleasant physique for an actress and obvious, but undeveloped, qualities, she played relatively many important roles, always leaving a pleasant impression, without reaching the maximum ceiling. A useful and necessary appearance in any theatrical collective. About "The Counter Reader" (by Paul Everac) the columnist had words of praise, noting the "remarkable dramatic tension" due to all the performers, among whom appeared the student Adrian Pintea - the future actor of great talent. Mia Popescu is among them. In a remarkable, homogeneous company, Mia Popescu brilliantly coped with a "filler" role, in fact very important in the economy of an admirable show ("The Flatworm" by Vladidmir Mayakovsky) - the caricatured, grotesque characters, constituting a perfect background for illustrating an upstart, ridiculous, but dangerous world.
