Studies: Cluj Theatre Institute

She started at the National Theatre in Cluj-Napoca, then continued at the one in Turda, before coming to Oradea, in 1957, together with her husband. Dissatisfied with the roles she was cast in, after a few seasons, she transferred to another theatre (Turda).

She was the daughter, from her first marriage, of actor Constantin Simionescu.
