Studies: Institute of Theater and Cinematography "ILCaragiale" Bucharest, 1981, in the class of prof. Dem Rădulescu

Both before and after graduating from the institute, he played on the stage of the Baia Mare Theater, from where, in 1989, he came to Oradea. He played four good roles, fully proving his qualities as an actor of strength and depth, and left for the dream of all actors: the capital of the country. Ştefan Mareş quickly stood out for his immense energy, an overflowing sense of humor, a joy of playing, a developed playful spirit...

His characters were always carefully thought out, studied, original, vivid, convincing.
