Queen Marie Theater Oradea

Actress

Date and place of birth: 05.04.1927, Poptelec, Cluj County

Studies: "Szentgyörgyi István" Theater Institute in Cluj, 1950

She began her career on the stage of the National Theatre in Cluj-Napoca, where she achieved her first successes with roles in "The Glass of Water" by Eugèn Scribe or "The Gaiţele" by Al. Kiriţescu, and others. She soon became the star of the Cluj troupe. After marrying Vladimir Jurăscu, she moved to Oradea. Here she played many important roles (Alta in "Act veneţian" by Camil Petrescu, Dorine in "Tartuffe" by Molière, Maria Panait in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by Tudor Muşatescu, etc.). Endowed with a pleasant physique and a slight "s" that gave her a certain personal charm, she became a basic actress in the collective. After the 1967/1968 season, she moved, together with her husband, to the National Theatre in Timişoara, where she played until her retirement.
