Queen Marie Theater Oradea

Actor

Date and place of birth: 17.05.1934, Drăgăşani, Argeş County

Studies: Institute of Theatrical and Cinematographic Art "ILCaragiale" Bucharest, 1957

An exceptionally talented actor, he graduated from the institute – where his classmates were George Pintilescu, Leopoldina Bălănuţă, Florin Piersic – with a superb Scapin from the play "The Wiles of Scapin" by Molière, with which he toured the country, then their entire group went to that true Eldorado of Romanian theater, namely the Youth Theater in Piatra Neamţ.

He acted a lot, especially comedy, and after eleven seasons he changed the German stage to the Oradea one, where he stayed for more than two seasons, playing only four roles, not without relative success, fate forcing him... to change places... He passed away prematurely, a great comic talent...
