She grew up in a wealthy intellectual family, having a happy childhood on the estate that seemed to be straight out of Turgenev's writings, in Orhei. As a child, she had the opportunity to see films with Shirley Temple and act in small skits "staged" by her grandmother, on the small improvised stage in the garden of the house.

She graduated from the Theoretical High School in Dej, then attended the Theater Institute, Nicolae Bălţăţeanu's class. In her third year of college, she married her classmate, Corneliu Zdrehuş, a future director.

It is rare for an actress to debut in a theater and remain faithful for almost forty years. Recently, on her eightieth birthday, at the celebration during which her talent, dedication, loyalty to the institution, and love for the stage were honored, the actress confessed, emotionally, that she loved the acting profession immensely, always respected the stage and had immense respect for the director, whom she considers the main author of a show, "the only one able to have an integrative vision of the show." By the way, her husband, director Corneliu Zdrehuş, fully confirmed these beliefs. She played over a hundred roles of great or small scope, but interpreted with the same rigor, sensitivity, and dedication. The actress also participated in poetry performances many times, herself performing, in the 1968/1969 season, a very beautiful and appreciated bilingual Baudelaire recital, accompanied by original music signed by Gheorghe Vilan, and directed by Szombati Gille Otto. Interpreting with the same seriousness and responsibility episodic characters or even figuration in performances such as: "Amadeus" by Peter Shaffer, "A Lost Letter" by IL Caragiale, "Omul care..." by Horia Lovinescu, "Bomba zilei" by Ben Hecht and Charles McArthur, for example, the actress was aware that she was an important part of a whole, so she gave the characters the necessary weight and brilliance. A front-line actress of the Oradea troupe, Alla Tăutu has remarkably interpreted quite a few characters of great importance in Romanian and universal dramaturgy, tragedies, dramas, comedies, here are some examples: Hecuba (majestic, tragic outfit) - "The Trojan War Will Not Take Place" by Jean Giraudoux, Lady (gentle, understanding) - "White Night" by Mircea Bradu, but also A villager in "The Cursed Village" by the same Mircea Bradu. She was also applauded in successful roles, such as: Mrs. Baker (with the air of a super-caring mother) in "Only Butterflies Are Free" by Leonard Gershe, Coana Sofica (lively, sympathetic) in "Geranium in the Window" by VIPopa, Madame Durand in "Cactus Flower" by Barillet and Grédy, and Maria (warm, tender) in the show "Sunset" by B.St.Delavrancea. In her youth she played Miza, and in adulthood she played Dacia in the show "Titanic Waltz" by Tudor Muşatescu. She collaborated admirably with director Sergiu Savin, under whose baton she created several unforgettable roles, such as Lilla in "The Dictator" by Al. Kiriţescu, with Szombati Gille Otto (the Prosecutor in "The Trial of Adam and Eve" by Rudi Strahl), with Alexandru Colpacci (Stela in "The Balcony" by DR Popescu), with Alexandru Darie ("Ten Laughter" by Tudor Popescu).

In an interview, Alla Tăutu beautifully said that "actors age more slowly spiritually than others.".

She proves it through the extraordinary youthfulness of her soul, which she has at the age of eighty.
