It is addressed to all Oradea residents, regardless of age, studies and interests, and consists of reciting a poem, of your choice, from Eminescu's lyrics.

The duration of the recitation must not exceed five minutes. A jury made up of cultural figures from Oradea will award participation certificates and prizes consisting of a subscription to the REGINA MARIA Theater performances, a subscription to the FAMILIA magazine from Oradea, books, as well as other surprise prizes.

For those interested, registrations can be made at the secretariat of the REGINA MARIA Theatre in Oradea, at Piaţa Regele Ferdinand 1, no. 6, phone: 0259436592. The deadline is Thursday, June 13, 3 p.m., the date on which the preselection will also take place (at the Arcadia Hall), with the list of those selected to be displayed on the same day, on the theatre's noticeboard.

We look forward to seeing you!

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
