PREMIERE THE MARRIAGE BY NV GOGOL

The Regina Maria Theater announces the first premiere of December: the show The Marriage (by NV Gogol, directed by Alexandru Mâzgăreanu) is performed on Sunday, December 14, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., in the Great Hall of the Regina Maria Theater.

The artistic team formed by Alexandru Mâzgăreanu and Sorana Țopa is in its second collaboration with the Regina Maria Theater, after staging the show Twelfth Night, a successful show, which enjoyed participation in numerous national festivals and various nominations.

Published in 1842, the play MARRIAGE, written by Nikolai Vasilievich Gogol, is the author's response to the conventional endings found in 19th-century Russian comedies, in which the protagonists overcome every obstacle for a happy ending, like in fairy tales.

The price of a ticket is:

20 lei - on the balcony

25 lei - in the gym

30 lei - in side boxes

35 lei - in central lodges

Tickets can be purchased at the theater's agency, open Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 19:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 13:00 or one hour before the show. Tickets can also be purchased online from the website www.biletmaster.ro. The next performance will take place on January 11, 2015, at 7:00 PM, also at the Great Hall.

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
