PRESS RELEASE | "A Land Called Romania" – a show dedicated to Romania's National Day
The Regina Maria Theater and the Bihor County Cultural Center have the great pleasure of inviting you to the anniversary show "A Land Called Romania", which will take place on December 1, from 6:00 PM, at the Great Hall of the Theater, on the occasion of the celebration of Romania's National Day.
The program includes artistic moments with a folklore specific, which will be interspersed with short poetic recitals performed by actors Giorgiana Coman and David Constantinescu. The show will be opened by the Folk Ensemble "Datina" from Aleșd with a moment entitled "When was the catana wake up – Thunder, Lord, what thunder!” and presents the departure of the young men and women in the village during the First World War, but also captures the longing, the doina, the horit and the corinda that remain in the village after their departure. The special guests of the Folk Ensemble "Datina" are the vocalist Maria Casandra Hauși - laureate of the "Maria Tănase" Festival and Mrs. Mariana Gligor, from Tulnica in Apuseni, a living human treasure. The moment will be followed by the Vocal Group "Lioara" of the "Francis Hubic" School of Arts in Oradea, and at the end the Professional Artistic Ensemble "Crișana" will take the stage, which has prepared a comprehensive and emotional artistic moment, in which we will be delighted by the orchestra and the dance troupe of the ensemble, the vocalist Otilia Haragoș Seghedi, the instrumental artists Petrică Popa, Stângaciu and Teodorescu Mihail.
Tickets for the show can be purchased from the theater agency, open from Tuesday to Friday between 10:00 and 14:00, or one hour before the performance and online at Eventim.ro.
According to the new regulations in force, access to the performance halls is allowed only for people vaccinated against the SARS-COV-2 virus, for whom 10 days have passed since the completion of the complete vaccination schedule, people who present a certificate attesting that they are between the 15th and 180th day following confirmation of infection with SARS-CoV-2, and minors under 12 years of age. Wearing a protective mask is mandatory for the entire duration of the event (from entering the foyer until leaving the building).

The "Iosif Vulcan" troupe of the Regina Maria Theater in Oradea presents on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 7:00 PM, at the Great Hall, the premiere of the show "An Enemy of the People", adaptation by Thomas Ostermeier and Florian Borchmeyer after Henrik Ibsen, directed by Radu Iacoban.
The cast consists of: Alina Leonte (Katharina Stockmann), Richard Balint (Peter Stockmann), Răzvan Vicoveanu (Thomas Stockmann), Gabriela Codrea (Nina Aslaksen), Elvira Rîmbu (Marta Kill), Alin Stanciu (Hovstad) and Tudor Manea (Billing).
