SELECTION OF SHOWS FROM FTS 2014
The Regina Maria Theater and the FITO Cultural Foundation, in partnership with the Oradea City Hall, the Bihor County Council, AFCN and UNITER announce the holding of the second edition of the Oradea International Theater Festival (FITO), between September 20 and October 12, in Oradea.
Within FITO we will have this year: the 20th edition of the Short Theatre Festival (September 21-28, festival-competition, the selection of which was made by the critic Ion Parhon), the Guest Performances section, the Fringe Theatre Festival, the Theatre Schools Section and the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival (2nd edition).

Premiere of the show "The Awakening"„
The Regina Maria Theatre announces the premiere of the show "Deșteptarea", a contemporary text by Doru Vatavlui, directed by Bobi Pricop, which will take place on January 17 and 18, 2026, from 7:00 PM, in the theatre's Great Hall. The show is specifically dedicated to the adolescent audience, but is also addressed to parents, teachers and all those interested in how the digital world influences identity formation and relationships between generations.
PRESS RELEASE | Selection of the Oradea International Theatre Festival 2026
On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
