SUMMER EVENINGS WITH PLAY AND STORIES | workshops for children at Arcadia

Summer evenings are full of stories, and children are the ones who feel their magic the best. So we thought of an educational and interactive way to spend them: a play and story workshop, through which children can develop their distributive attention, motor skills, rhythm, coordination and team spirit.

In addition to their superhero skills, they have the opportunity to discover theater. Together with the actors, they will step on stage, explore backstage and learn what it takes to prepare a show.

It all ends with an interactive story, in which the little ones become, one by one, characters and storytellers.

Objectives:
• Stimulating the imagination
• Introducing children to the world of fairy tales and myths
• Developing empathy and critical thinking
• Connecting with cultural traditions or values

Workshop coordinators: actors Armanca Serac, Zentania Lupșe, Andrei Fazecaș

The workshops are recommended for children over 6 years old!

The price of a ticket is 20 lei/child and is paid only for the child. Parents are asked to wait in the foyer during the workshops.

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
