PARTICIPATION IN THE INTERNATIONAL NEW THEATRE FESTIVAL, ARAD

Less than two months after its premiere, the show "The Ritual Murder of Gorge Mastromas" (the national premiere) has already been invited to participate in an international theater festival. This is the Arad International Festival of New Theater (FITN), organized by the "Ioan Slavici" Classical Theater, which takes place between May 9-17, 2015. The Iosif Vulcan troupe was invited to give a performance after the show was viewed and appreciated by the FITN selector, Claudiu Groza.

The Regina Maria Theatre is participating in the FITN for the second time after last year with the show Leonce and Lena, directed by Mihai Măniuțiu. Also at that time, the Oradea troupe was delighted to be selected alongside other troupes in the country considered among the most appreciated, from theatres such as Odeon, Act, Târgu-Mureș, etc., which presented shows whose directors were signed by big names such as: Theodor Cristian Popescu, Radu Afrim, Victor Ioan Frunză, etc.

The Ritual Murder of Gorge Mastromas will be performed on the stage of the Classical Theatre in Arad on May 14, 2015, at 7:00 PM.

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
