The Regina Maria Theatre again at the National Theatre Festival: the performances "Rabbit Hole" and "B-category goddesses"
The Regina Maria Theater for the third time in the last four years in the FNT program: "Category B Goddesses" on the Teatrelli stage and "Rabbit Hole" on the Studio Hall stage of the "IL Caragiale" National Theater in Bucharest, within the 34th edition of the National Theater Festival (FNT).
The Regina Maria Theatre's production of "Rabbit Hole", with a text by playwright David Lindsay-Abaire and directed by Vlad Cristache, premiered in April 2024. It is a profound psychological drama that explores the theme of loss and how people cope with pain and suffering. The show offers a sensitive and moving vision of the healing process, highlighting the courage and inner strength needed to overcome difficult moments. "Rabbit Hole" is a warm story about acceptance, strength and transformation.
The second show, „"B-Grade Goddesses"”, is a creation by Alexandra Felseghi, which combines an original idea with the direction of Andrei Măjeri. „"B-Grade Goddesses"” is a collaboration between creart / Teatrelli, the "Lucian Blaga" National Theatre in Cluj-Napoca, the "Regina Maria" Theatre in Oradea and the "Mihai Eminescu" Theatre in Botoșani, and the cast includes actresses Ioana Dragos Gajdó, Elena Ivanca and Silvia Luca.
This participation in the National Theatre Festival marks the third presence of the Regina Maria Theatre in the last four years, after the shows "Vinegar Tom" in 2022, "Legacy of Luck" and "Three Tall Women" in 2021.
The 2024 edition of the FNT is curated by Mihaela Michailov, Călin Ciobotari and Ionuț Sociu, who have selected productions that highlight the diversity and complexity of the Romanian theater scene.

This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
