The second edition of the Christmas in the Land of Dolls event at the end – 98 wishes fulfilled and a charity show
The Regina Maria Theater managed to bring joy and hope to the souls of children in Bihor County during the 2nd edition of the event "Christmas in the Land of Puppets", which took place from December 2 to 18. This year's edition included 14 shows performed at the Arcadia Hall and the Great Hall and brought a distinctive touch by integrating two awareness campaigns, carried out in collaboration with the Bihor DGASPC.
"A Christmas Gift" Campaign: A charity show and gifts for the little ones
The "A Christmas Gift" campaign was aimed at children aged between 3 and 11, in the care of foster parents. As part of this campaign, the show "The Three Little Pigs" was performed at the Arcadia Hall on December 13, and each child received a small gift, offered with the support of sponsors Transtronic Oradea and the Folklore Without Borders Association.
"Make a Wish" Campaign: 98 Wishes Fulfilled Through Community Involvement
Initiated under the slogan "Fulfill a wish", the campaign of the same name focused on the wishes and needs of children and adolescents in family-type homes of the DGASPC Bihor. The children were invited to express their Christmas wishes through a letter. All their letters were scanned and put online on the platform dedicated to the campaign, www.indelplinesteodorinta.ro, where they could be consulted and chosen by those willing to get involved. All 98 wishes were fulfilled, the gifts were centralized at the Regina Maria Theater, then distributed by Santa Claus together with the campaign team.

This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
