Regina Maria Theater reopens the doors of TRM Academy in 2026 – personal development program through theater

The Regina Maria Theatre is launching the second edition of TRM Academy, a program that grew naturally from the enthusiasm and very good feedback of the participants from the first edition. For many, it was more than a course, it was a space where they gained courage, experimented without pressure and discovered an authentic form of expression.

We continue in this direction and open the doors again for a new series of meetings where theater becomes a tool for personal exploration, not just performance. TRM Academy is about seeing yourself differently, hearing yourself more clearly, and allowing yourself to be present, without filters, in front of others.

Between May 15 – June 23, participants are invited to join one of the two modules of personal development courses through theater, coordinated by professional theater actors:

Pay 403.91 LEI
The displayed price includes the processing fee of 0.80%, to which VAT of 21% is applied.

IMPRO (+16)

Coordinators: Cosmin Petruț and Sorin Ionescu

The improvisation course offers participants the opportunity to explore spontaneity, creativity and stage presence, in a relaxed and collaborative setting. Improvisation exercises and team games help students express themselves freely, manage their emotions and develop their communication skills.
Meetings will take place once a week, from 6:00 PM, according to the following schedule: program:
Friday, May 15
Monday, May 25
Tuesday, June 2
Monday, June 8
Thursday, June 18
Friday, June 19

TEXT INTERPRETATION (+16)

Coordinators: Mirela Niță Lupu and Sebastian Lupu

A workshop dedicated to adults who wish to explore theater as a tool for self-discovery. Students will work on dramatic texts, emotional expressiveness, and stage communication, discovering how they can give meaning and depth to their own experiences through the art of acting.

Meetings will take place once a week, from 6:00 PM, according to the following schedule: program:
Monday, May 18
Tuesday, May 26
Wednesday, June 3
Tuesday, June 9
Monday, June 22

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
