WALKING THROUGH THE WORLD OF THE LUCEAFĂRULUI ~performance-recital based on the lyrics of the poet Mihai Eminescu~
The Regina Maria Theater has the honor of inviting you to a very special theatrical evening, dedicated to the 167th anniversary of the birth of the great poet Mihai Eminescu: the recital-performance "Caroling through the world of Luceafărului". We will be led slowly through Eminescu's lyrical universe by the actor who knew how to best portray the purity of poetic form on stage: Eugen Țugulea, laureate in 2016 of the UNITER award for a life dedicated to theater and poetry.
The lyrical journey will be harmoniously accompanied by the graceful voices of the soloists of the Crișana Professional Artistic Ensemble: Simona Costin, Otilia Haragoș, Felicia Costin, Luminița Tomuța, Cornelia Covaciu and by the magical music that emerges from the keyboard of pianist Henrietta Varady.
An enchanting evening, which opens the gates of the imagination to an enchanting world, where you will listen to a true symphony of letters, which will carry you, on the path of the star, to immortality: Sunday, January 15, from 6:00 PM, at the Arcadia Hall.
Also, by commemorating the most prominent local cultural representative - the poet Mihai Eminescu, we will also celebrate "National Culture Day", a day of deep reflection on the artistic values that have conferred Romanian cultural identity.

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
