WORLD PUPPET THEATRE DAY
The Arcadia troupe of the Regina Maria Theater is pleased to invite the Oradea audience to celebrate World Puppet Theater Day, on March 21st.
On the occasion of this holiday, the actors of the Arcadia Troupe, helped by their volunteers and friends, prepared some surprises for the children of Oradea.
The event will begin on Saturday, March 21, at 11 a.m. at the Arcadia Hall, with the performance of the puppet opera show. „"PUSS IN BOOTS"”, directed by Traian Savinescu. After the show, children (and their companions) will have the opportunity to go on stage with the actors and puppets, to discover up close some of the secrets of puppet theater.
An interactive exhibition with puppets from various performances by the Arcadia Troupe and the Lilliput Troupe will be set up in the foyer of the Arcadia Theatre. The free-admission exhibition will be open to the public throughout March between 10 am and 5 pm.
But the surprises don't end there! Also on World Puppet Theatre Day, puppeteers, Theatre volunteers, their friends and all the children are welcome to FAIRY TALE CHARACTERS PARADE, which will start at 1:30 p.m. from the Arcadia Theater, on the route 1 Decembrie Park - Intellectuals' Bridge - Regina Maria Theater - Corso - Crișul Store and return on the same route.
We look forward to celebrating World Puppet Theatre Day together!
