Music and poetry recital at the Regina Maria Theater – VOICES OF SPRING
The Regina Maria Theater has the honor of inviting you to a special musical evening, which will take place on Wednesday, March 4, at 6:30 PM, at the Arcadia Hall: the "Spring Voices" recital show.
We will travel through the lyrical universe guided by the voice of actress Gabriela Codrea, who will recite poems from Cristian Bădiliță's love lyrics, which will be harmoniously accompanied by the voices of soprano Alina Roșca and baritone Vlad David in an event full of emotion, in which the dialogue between poetry and music will create a warm and positive atmosphere.
The following titles will be part of soprano Alina Roșca's repertoire:
- „"Maybe we wouldn't love that much" – Mauriciu Vescan
- „"I am the postwoman Cristinel" – aria from the operetta "The Bird Seller" by C. Zeller
- „"From dear dreams, poems..." by Sabin Păuța
- „"Torna a Surriento" - E. De Curtis
- The lieder cycle "Tel jour, telle nuit" by Francis Poulenc
- „"Music" from the operetta "The Waves of the Danube" by George Grigoriu
Baritone David Vlad will perform:
- „"Ideals" by P. Tosti
- „"Desire" by Vasile Popovici
They will be accompanied by Henrietta Varady, who will play Erik Satie – Gnossiene No. 1, 2, 3 on the piano.

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
