A new premiere at the Arcadia Troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre – Pinocchio, after Carlo Collodi

The Arcadia troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre is pleased to announce a new premiere of the 2017 – 2018 season: „"Pinocchio"”, stage adaptation of Carlo Collodi's story by Adela Moldovan, artistic direction by Adela Moldovan, which will take place on Saturday, March 31, from 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, at the Arcadia Hall.

„"The Adventures of Pinocchio" is a story that is part of the canon of great Italian literary works for children. Written by Carlo Collodi (pseudonym of Carlo Lorenzini) in 1881, it remains one of the most beloved and perennial stories, enjoying numerous reprints and being a source of inspiration for famous theater performances and films, which have transformed Pinocchio into a symbolic character.

At Arcadia Troupe, "Pinocchio" comes to life under the mastery of an extraordinary team. It is directed by Adela Moldovan, already known to the Oradea audience through the show "Cinderella", one of the most beloved shows in the troupe's current repertoire. Each story chosen by the director hides in the magic of creation a specific purpose, which has an instructive role, and the choice of "Pinocchio" was also consolidated on such a criterion:

„"I think it is essential for every child to know this story, from which they have a lot to learn and which can provide them with some guidelines in life. It is very important for me to emphasize the relationship between father and son, and parent and child. It is very important for the child to understand that the family is the support and the place where the best advice is given, and whatever temptations arise in everyone's life, they must know how to judge and avoid them."”

The scenography is the work of Marian Sandu, a scenographer renowned for his extraordinary and unique method of creation, at least in Romania. He, together with the artist Oriana Pelladi, give life to a fascinating world, which will have the power to dilute the contours of the real world and to make each spectator lose themselves in the enchanting atmosphere of Italy, of a fairytale Italy. The setting is harmoniously complemented by the music created by Lucian Nagy, mixed by Steve Brookfield and the choreography specially conceived in a style that captures the Italian specificity by Dimény Levente.

The cast includes the following actors: Consuela Egyed, Zentania Lupșe, Armanca Serac, Florian Silaghi, Andrei Fazecaș, Patrick Negrean and Alexandru Pop.

There are still few tickets left for the premiere, but we are waiting for you at the next performances, which will take place on April 5, at 5:00 PM, April 21, from 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, at the Arcadia Hall.

Tickets are on sale at the theater's Ticket Agency (Tuesday to Friday between 12:00 and 18:00, and on weekends between 10:00 and 13:00) and online at www.biletmaster.ro.
