Studies: "Szentgyörgyi István" Theater Institute in Cluj, 1953

Assigned to the Baia Mare Theater; after marrying Cristina Tacoi, in 1956, he came to Oradea. Just four years later he moved to Ploieşti (close to his wife, Cristina, who had transferred to the "C. Nottara" Theater in Bucharest) and, after a while, he also arrived at the same theater. There they experienced the tragedy of the premature loss of their only child.

An actor with a pleasant physique, a master of his profession, he played important roles in theater and in several historical-themed films.
