He had the chance to play, as his first professional role, Agamiţă Dandanache in the inaugural performance of the Romanian section of the Oradea State Theatre – 1955, with „O scrisoare pierdută” by IL Cargiale and two other important roles. Then, offended because he was cast in a figuration role, he left the collective. After several wanderings, he got a job at the „Ion Creangă” Theatre in Bucharest, where he played until the end of his career. He appeared in TV shows and in medium or episodic roles in several historical films. A talented actor.
