„"Love is No Joke" is a stage show, a light, entertaining musical comedy, full of liveliness and humor, sprinkled with unexpected situations. It presents in an optimistic and bright tone an aspect of the working and pleasure life of the youth of the Soviet Union. The characters are three boys and three girls who are cheerful and always up for pranks. Prepared to leave on a research expedition, the three students believe that love could tie them to a marriage that is incompatible with such a long separation. To their great surprise, they are conquered by the very love they wanted to joke about. In the end, all their fear of love and marriage proves unfounded, because their new life companions are also good companions on the great expedition.
