Nica, Simona

Actress
Date and place of birth: 05.10.1977, Târgu Ocna, Bacău County
Studies: Faculty of Theatre, Iași, 2000
In the two years (2000-2002) that she worked at the State Theatre of Oradea, Simona Nica played relatively many, but almost exclusively small, episodic roles, the exception being the picturesque character Fräulein in "Gaiţele" by Al. Kiriţescu, a nice composition - to which she added something of her personal charm. In the role of Diana Ciobanu in "Cabaret in the Family" (after Jean Poiret), she proved, once again, that she knows how to put humor into her interpretation. Blonde, thin, she accepted, of course, considering that she still has a lot to learn, small roles – in the chorus of "Medea" (by Euripides) or in "Dom Juan" (by Molière), but also several small, but important roles in the economy of the show "The Fantastic and Sad Story of the Candid Eréndira..." (dramatization after G.G. Márquez). More important roles would probably have followed, if the actress had not left the troupe, opting for another theater.
