Rozorea, Liviu

Actor
Date and place of birth: 05.12.1941, Sibiu
Studies: Institute of Theater and Cinematography "ILCaragiale" Bucharest, German language class, prof. Petrică Vasilescu
A serious, sober actor of German structure, working on stage without compromise, he performed many important roles in other theaters (Sibiu, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Târgu Mureş, Arad), and in Oradea he performed fifteen important roles, including: Director Hinkfuss in "Tonight they improvise" by Luigi Pirandello, for which he was awarded in 1978: "Liviu Rozorea - writes Ileana Berlogea - energetic and persuasive" in a remarkable performance, "by team excellence"; or Rhesos in "Rhesos (The Thracian King)" by Euripides, at a level that certified his professionalism.
Valentin Silvestru notes: "The most difficult interpretative tasks fell to Liviu Rozorea (Rhesos), in a show of authentic tragic thrill". Duplicitous, cunning, ultra-present and with a certain touch of originality was Liviu Rozorea in Caţavencu ("A Lost Letter" by ILCaragiale). In "The Indictment" (by Keskin Yîldîrîm), Mircea Morariu notes: "The protagonist of the show was Liviu Rozorea, in a difficult role, well resolved in the end". Certain availability for difficult, dramatic roles is also proven in the role of Archon Aristodem in the show "Diogenes, the Dog" by Dumitru Solomon, and, full of sappy humor in Timofeev in "Tsar Ivan..." by Mikhail Bulgakov. He appeared in important roles in several films, and also in television shows. Searching for the German roots of his family tree, he went to Germany with his wife.
