Queen Marie Theater Oradea

Actress

Date and place of birth: 20.12.1943, Craiova

Studies: Institute of Theater and Cinematography "ILCaragiale" Bucharest, 1971, class of prof. Ion Finteşteanu, lecturer Sanda Manu

Unmarried.

The daughter of an actor (Nicolae Sireteanu, People's Artist), she only had a meteoric rise through a provincial theater, then moved to the capital, to the "Nottara" Theater, where her father also played. She had a fairly visible career, but without remarkable virtues, although she appeared in TV and radio shows and in numerous films. About how she understood how to interpret Nina ("The Seagull" by A.P. Chekhov), the columnist Dumitru Chirilă wrote: "Ruxandra Sireteanu's disturbing interpretation of Nina Zarecinaia, the moments of contained drama and intense inner tension and the ease of the acting, always simple and natural.". Demanding, disciplined, with a special respect for the stage (acquired in the family).  (Presentation by Eugen Ţugulea)
