And the ministers are walking crookedly
A delicious comedy of complications, "And the Ministers Walk Awkwardly" unfolds in an extremely sustained dramatic rhythm a multitude of problems resulting from the amorous adventures of the main characters. A minister, the right-hand man of the prime minister, is late from a government meeting in which the budget will be discussed, for an affair with the opposition secretary, in a hotel room. The successive appearances of the minister's wife, the secretary, the mistress's husband, the nurse, the returns of the waiter and the hotel manager, driven crazy by the agitation and equivocal gestures of the room's inhabitants, culminate in the appearance of a Dead Man who is not as stiff as he seems. The events take on tragicomic dimensions, we burst out laughing at almost every line, and in the end we even witness a wedding carried out in the most perfect burlesque register.
