A GIFT BECOMES A CELEBRATION

This winter, Communications Media launches the social responsibility project "Help, get involved, educate!", a heartfelt project, through which we want to both support access to education for disadvantaged children or those from families with a precarious financial situation, and stimulate their academic and artistic performances.

The first event within the project takes place at the "Ioan Slavici" Middle School, on Friday, December 13, at 11:00. As a gift becomes a celebration, here, 250 children, most of whom know little about what Christmas means, will have many surprises and gifts. Santa will bring them supplies and sweets, and volunteers from Kiwanis Art and the Student Choir of the "Emanuil Gojdu" National College will offer them a beautiful carol concert as a gift.

However, the ”sweetest” surprise comes from the Regina Maria Theater, with the play ”Hansel and Gretel”, performed by the Arcadia Troupe, without which the joy would not have been educational. After the show, the fairy tale will become reality, and the children will be able to taste the gingerbread from the story. We are sure that the children’s joy will also fill the big hearts of the partners who are with us at this first event and responded without hesitation to our initiative: Mr. Daniel Vulcu, Director of the Regina Maria Theater, Mr. Florian Silaghi, Artistic Director of the Arcadia Troupe, the Kiwanis Art Oradea Association and the Student Choir of the ”Emanuil Gojdu” National College, led by teacher Delia Vulpe.

We want the "Help, Get Involved, Educate!" project to be a long-term one, as we believe that we can do a good deed not only on holidays. That is why, monthly, at the headquarters of the Communications Media agency, educational and creative workshops will be organized, during which talented volunteers will share with children their passions in various fields.
