ON HOLIDAY – PREMIERE ON DECEMBER 1
On a holiday is a show dedicated to Romania's National Day, December 1. It is composed of moments of folk music, dances and orchestral suites. The ensemble's soloists will address, in addition to the songs from their own repertoire, also songs that have accompanied our history over time. In addition, during the show, the audience will be able to recognize the historical areas of Romania through the interpretations of the artists and dancers who will display symbols specific to each region.
The show will bring to the stage names recognized by the public: those of instrumentalists Stângaciu and Petrică Popa, of soloists Crişana Professional Artistic Ensemble – Simona Costin, Luminița Tomuța, Voichița Mihoc, Cornel Borza, Leontin Ciucur-, of the soloists Doina Gorjului Professional Artistic Ensemble– Roberta Crintea and Olguţa Berbec-, and the orchestra will be conducted by Eduard Albina.

The premiere of the show will take place on December 1, 2013, at 7:00 PM, at the Great Hall of the Regina Maria Theater.
Tickets for the show On a holiday were put on sale at the theater agency, open from Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 19:00, and on Saturday and Sunday between 10:00 and 13:00, as well as online, on the website www.biletmaster.ro. They can also be purchased one hour before the start of the show. The price of a ticket is 10 lei.
After the premiere in Oradea, the Crişana Professional Artistic Ensemble will perform two more shows in Beiuş and Băile Felix:
– Beiuş: – December 2, 2013, 6:00 p.m., at the Culture House (former headquarters of the army theater);
– Băile Felix: – December 3, 2013, 7:30 p.m., at Hotel Padiș

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
