COMPLAINT TO CROWN PUB MANAGEMENT – ABUSIVE ADVERTISING
Following press articles, opinions presented on various blogs, photos and reactions appearing on social media sites, and complaints received by phone at the institution's secretariat, the management of the Regina Maria Theatre publicly announces that it disclaims any connection with the advertisement that the Crown Pub abusively projects on the facade of the Regina Maria Theatre.
We would like to inform you that no document has ever been received at the institution's address by which the company that manages Crown Pub presents any authorization that would allow it to project advertisements on the facade of the institution, which is owned by the Bihor County Council. We would like to mention that there was not even any discussion in this regard.
In addition, today, November 26, 2013, the Regina Maria Theater sent a written notification to the Oradea City Hall, the Chief Architect's Institution, requesting the local authorities to take the necessary measures to stop this type of advertising that affects the image of the cultural institution.
„"I agree with the residents of Oradea who were outraged by the way this venue saw fit to promote its image almost every weekend. I hope that this will not happen again and that its administrators will understand that this type of advertising does not correspond to, is not appropriate for the image of a cultural institution. I thank the residents of Oradea who took a stand and showed interest in what is always happening with the Regina Maria Theater," said Daniel Vulcu, General Manager.
