DADA CABARET at the first edition of the "Matei Vișniec Theater Days" in Suceava
The Regina Maria Theater was invited to the first edition of the "Matei Vișniec Theater Days" festival, organized by the "Matei Vișniec" Municipal Theater in Suceava, with the show "Dada Cabaret", written by the renowned playwright and directed by Anca Bradu.
The Oradea show was performed on the stage of the Suceava Trade Unions' Culture House on Friday, May 19, at 7:00 PM and was an extraordinary success, with over 500 spectators coming to enjoy a Dadaist evening of theater. The audience also included prominent guests from the world of Romanian theater, including playwright Matei Vișniec, who could not resist the temptation to see the show again, theater critics Ion Parhon and Doru Mareș, the general director of the "Vasile Alecsandri" Theater in Iași - Cristian Hadji-Culea, and actors from the Iași and Piatra Neamț theaters.
Also, those who could not make it to Suceava for the show and had access to the internet were able to enjoy the theater from the comfortable armchairs of their homes, as "Cabaretul Dada" was broadcast live by Rădăuți-Ziar.
„"Matei Vișniec Theater Days" is an event that took place between May 16 and 21, with the main objective of "bringing a European dimension to the Suceava cultural space, by promoting contemporary performing art, through comedy, tragedy, tragicomedy, children's shows, theater-dance shows, a meeting with Matei Vișniec - lecture conference: On the art of speech, performative installation, film, mobile theater on the bus, a musical."” (Festival organizers)
