Extraordinary concert FROM BIHOR TO BANAT
The Crișana Professional Artistic Ensemble has the great pleasure of inviting you on Friday, May 12, from 7:00 PM, to the Great Hall of the Regina Maria Theater, to enjoy music, dance and the beautiful Romanian costume, at Extraordinary Concert "From Bihor to Banat", directed by Leontin Ciucur.
The ensemble successfully carries the banner of Romanian folklore throughout the country and has proven this in numerous international festivals. Through Extraordinary Concert "From Bihor to Banat" the ensemble's artists bring to the audience gems of folklore from the two areas of our country. Two hours of show, in which you will be able to applaud the soloists Simona Costin, Otilia Haragoș Seghedi, Felicia Costin, Cornelia Covaciu, Mitica Negrean, Florin Bontu, Luminița Tomuța, Petrică Popa, Stângaciu, Leontin Ciucur and Cornel Borza. The ensemble's orchestra and ballet corps will pamper you with traditional music and dances specific to Bihor and Banat, led by the careful baton of conductor Adrian Miescu. The event will be presented by the actor of the Iosif Vulcan Troupe, Andrian Locovei, who shares the talent and love for music.

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
