UNITER NATIONAL CAMPAIGN – ARTISTS FOR ARTISTS!
As every year, the Regina Maria Theater responds positively to the National Campaign launched by UNITER - "Artists for Artists", so this year, on the occasion of World Theatre Day, which will be celebrated on March 27, the show chosen to be performed on this special day is "Fiddler on the Roof" (adaptation from the story by Sholom Aleichem, artistic direction by Korcsmaros Gyorgy).
The National Campaign "Artists for Artists" is organized by UNITER, together with theaters in Bucharest and across the country, with the aim of raising funds for elderly artists with health problems.
Initiated and organized since 2002, the National Campaign "Artists for Artists" is a stimulator of guild solidarity, a financial resource for elderly artists with health problems, and a signal to the public and authorities regarding their situation and their dignity.
Every year, UNITER, together with important artists and theatrical institutions, with partners who have associated themselves with this program, has managed to make possible the National Campaign "Artists for Artists" through which the necessary funds are raised to support elderly artists from all over the country. Pensioners, single people who have lived a life in the theater, sick, but delicate and silent, these people had the power to mobilize younger colleagues who support charity shows, theatrical institutions that play shows under the sign of the Campaign and spectators who buy tickets to these shows. Therefore, the funds raised from ticket sales are directed to a specially established fund - the Theater Solidarity Fund.
