PRESS RELEASE | Norr in the world of colors

A new premiere for early age at the Arcadia Band

The Arcadia troupe of the Regina Maria Theater announces a new premiere for the youngest spectators: "Norr in the World of Colors", which will take place on Saturday, October 1, from 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, at the Arcadia Small Hall.

The show is a concept signed by actor Florian Silaghi, dedicated to children between the ages of 0 and 3, which uses sensory stimulation elements: colors, visual effects, calibrated music, shadow plays, lights and colorful images, with the aim of accustoming the little ones to the spectacular world of theater. With the help of these elements, which may seem simple at first glance, enchanting moments are created, which will gently captivate the attention of the little spectators, thus increasing the level of receptivity and adaptability to new environments. The main character of the show is the unicorn Norr, who will be a charming guide, for 40 minutes, in a laboratory world, full of color and magical mirrors.

Since this is a show for such a young age group, the audience will not be subject to conventional theatrical rules, but will be introduced to a familiar environment, will be seated on cushions, not chairs, and no one will be upset for any whimpering, laughing, or curious exploration of the room.

Actor Florian Silaghi, who designed and directed the show, told us the following:

„"Learning from new parents that there is a limited offer of activities for this age group and knowing how well the audience reacted to performances of this kind, I wanted to make a show for such young children. The idea of this show was conceived in collaboration with the set designer Oana Cernea and is the result of watching several similar productions over the last 12 years, including from abroad."”

The Arcadia troupe also has two other productions in its repertoire that fall into this category of shows: "Small or Big?" and "Man", which have enjoyed success among both children and parents. "Norr in the World of Colors" continues the tradition started at the Arcadia Theater of creating shows for children of all ages, including the youngest spectators.

The show's scenography is by Oana Cernea, the props by Răzvan Chendrean, the painting by Mădălina Baciu. The cast of the show includes actresses Consuela Egyed and Carina Bunea.

Tickets are already on sale and can be purchased from the theater agency, open Tuesday and Thursday between 12:00-18:00, Wednesday and Friday between 10:00-14:00 and Saturday between 11:00-13:00, online at Eventim.ro or one hour before the performances at the Arcadia Theater (subject to availability).
