PARTICIPATION IN NATIONAL FESTIVALS
The Regina Maria Theater was invited to participate in several of the most important theater festivals that will take place this fall nationwide, with performances that are found in the repertoire of the Iosif Vulcan Troupe and that of the Arcadia Troupe.
The grand tour was opened by the Arcadia Troupe, which participated in the first edition of the Youth Festival, organized by the "Gong" Children's and Youth Theater in Sibiu, between September 30 and October 4, 2015, with the wonderful story ONE THOUSAND AND ONE BORDERLANDS (THE STORY OF ALADDIN), which enchanted the Sibiu audience on October 1.
The Arcadia Troupe was also invited, with the unique show for children MIC SAU MARE?, on October 5, to the Ion Creangă International Festival in Bucharest, which is in its 11th edition and takes place between October 3-10, 2015.
On October 8, the show A THOUSAND AND ONE BORDERLANDS (ALADIN'S STORY) will also be performed at the 10th edition of the POVEŞTI International Theater Festival, organized by the Prichindel Puppet Theater in Alba Iulia.
Next, the Iosif Vulcan Troupe will hold a national tour that will take place between October 8-14. Thus, the first time it will stop in Galaţi, where the audience is invited to sing and dance alongside the delicious characters from the show LEONCE AND LENA, with whom it will participate in the National Comedy Festival.
From Galaţi, he will head to Bucharest, where on October 11, CHEIA, a tragicomic story of the end of childhood, will be performed at the FestIN pe Bulevard festival, now in its third edition.
The last destination of this national tour is Piatra Neamţ, where he will participate with the show THE RITUAL MURDER OF GORGE MASTROMAS, a show about the desire to possess power and how it dehumanizes and throws the human being into an existential void, at the 27th edition of the "Pledez pentru tine(ri)" Theater Festival. The performance will take place on October 13.
The Arcadia Troupe has not finished its activity on this level either, so on October 14, 2015, the dwarves from Cluj await the exotic journey of ONE THOUSAND AND ONE FRONTIERE (THE STORY OF ALADDIN), which will participate in the 14th edition of the Puck Puppet and Marionette Theatre Festival, organized by the Puck Puppet Theatre in Cluj Napoca.
The Iosif Vulcan troupe will return home from Piatra Neamţ for only a few days, and then leave for Turda, for the 4th edition of the SALT ROAD THEATRE FESTIVAL, where on October 18, the remarkable musical THE MAN IN LA MANCHA will play, which has already, shortly after its premiere, been a real success with the public.
The sparkling comedy LEONCE AND LENA will also charm Râmnicu Vâlcea, participating in the 5th edition of the ARIEL INTER FEST Theater Festival, where it will be performed on October 24th.
The journey of the Oradea troupe will end with the INTERNATIONAL CLASSICAL THEATRE FESTIVAL in Arad, in its 21st edition, which will take place between November 14-22, 2015, in which it will participate with the exceptional musical THE MAN OF LA MANCHA.
Therefore, the Regina Maria Theater will participate this fall in 6 national festivals with performances from the repertoire of the Iosif Vulcan troupe and in another 4 national festivals with performances from the repertoire of the Arcadia Troupe.

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
